Been to MOA several times already but it was the first time I saw the sunset by which I've posted in my other blog. We were not able to roam around the mall because it was too big that my easily tired feet and my running shoes gave up already and needed some rest.

My Best Friend's Wedding
Wedding day must be the most important day of her life. I've talked with her almost everyday and she was able to update me about her wedding. She asked me some suggestions but I said that I really am not into grand wedding and if I am the one to decide, it would be a simple wedding yet elegant. I suggested that there are cheap invitations that are affordable without suffering the style that they both want for their wedding.
The couple has decided to have a month vacation after the wedding to enjoy their time as husband and wife. They're both excited as they've been engaged for a couple of years already. I am more excited for them. I wish them both a happy and wonderful life together.

Neighbor's House on Fire
Just this morning, when I was about to fetch my daughter from school, I was surprised to see my neighborhood in panic because the house near to us was on fire. I saw my neighbor with wireless phone outside and calling fire station. I hurriedly went inside our house and checked the fire department and found out that I don't have it in my emergency list too.
There's a firewall in the house next to us that even the smoke hardly find its way out. But it was my business, oh yes, my business, it's my neighbor, and their house was on fire.
This was taken at the 3rd floor. I went upstairs to see a closer look and saw the firemen readied themselves, armed with firehose and stairs and other tools to stop the fire. Only one thing was on my mind, put valuables in one bag including documents. I got the house keys, unplugged everything and locked the house.
When I went outside, there were already about 20 firetrucks on standby. I salute the firefighters performing their job. I'd say true heroes to risk their lives.
After about 40minutes, fire out was declared. The owner of the house who just left five minutes after the incident, was surprised when she came back to see their house burned and est 3.4 million pesos damaged in span of 40 minutes. Cause of fire: She forgot to unplug the celfone and overcharging was first pointed out as the cause of explosion that turned to a big fire.
March is Fire Prevention Month. Let's all be alert and take safety measures when leaving the house. Switch off all appliances, gas stove, and do not overcharged celfones or any other e-gadgets. A reminder including myself, to keep emergency numbers posted and visible in your house.

mother's heart
Just like any mother, she gave everything and worked hard for us. She worked abroad for seven years and I knew the feeling of that long painful years to be away from her children. I am a mother and I know what it felt like to be away even for single moment with my children.
I remembered her saying this to us where she only wished for very simple thing. She wants to go shopping, do groceries with cart full of goodies and cook food for us. It was a a very simple wish but that simple wish didn't even happen once. Sad.
I miss those days when we were rushing to go home from school and we're all in hungry mouth with whatever snack she cooked for us, hotcake, ginatan, bibingka or palitaw.
Thank your mom today for the life that she gave, for all her sacrifices and for everything that she did. Give your mom a hug today, a kiss, shower her with love.
I do miss my mother terribly and it's been 17 years. I miss her so much. yes.. so much!

see better vision
check your eye vision. how far can you read?
We just came from optical clinic for eye check up of my two daughters. Regular visit is necessary every six months. My older daughter's vision from 200/175 last year is now 325 with astigmatism for right eye and 200 for the left. While my little one has retained her vision to 50 and 75.Both have their eyes checked up. I wonder why my older daughter's vision was not corrected. By wearing eyeglasses, we can correct some eye problem but the real root of problem if not treated well, will only result to poor vision. Staring too long in computer, not wearing eyeglasses at times, reading in dim light, unhealthy lifestyle are common causes of poor eye vision.
We can take care of our eyes by taking enough sleep, eating healthy food and eye muscles stretching. There is certain eye muscle movement for our eyes. If you are working at the computer, have at least few moment to stop and look around and relax.
