On our way to Splash Mountain, we noticed the row houses at the foot of the mountain. I wonder if this is the relocation area that I've seen in the news. The community requested the government to move them in a place where they can live a normal life and survive. Now I understand the sentiments of being relocated in a remote rural area.
True. Sometimes LGUs are insensitive to the real basic needs of those informal settlers they relocate. Good thing though, many LGUs are starting to understand the value of human rsources and the value of building resettlement areas on-site. :)
