A New Hangout Place

I  didn't  know what  to expect when my  friend invited me for a meet up in a coffee shop.  I  thought  the place was  like a  smoke shop  because all I could see are couches and the whole atmosphere just  gave me  an idea  as  a  perfect  place  for  some  smokers  who want  to have  time while chilling with hot and cold coffee.  I  will  blog  about  the place soon  when  I got  all  the  photos uploaded and other details about  the shop  like their soft  opening,  promos,  et al.  The  place is also perfect  for students  who  want  to  have  some  quiet time  while  studying  or  having  a chill  time.

Are you sure all your data and other sensitive files have really been deleted?

If you think that formatting and deleting data on your computer and laptop would  clean  your drive,  think again.  These actions make  no  guarantee to clean and erase  your  drive.     Delete is not really a word that indicates  its meaning.   Because  they are  still  there  and you    need  a  wipe drive  to make sure that everything you deleted  no longer exists.  If  you happen to sell or discard your old computer,  make sure that you only sell the computer and not the private data  and documents that are still stored  in  your  PC.

It is like giving away your information easily to a thief and be surprised one day when everything in your bank was  drained, your emails were hacked and be caught by surprised with  your  private video that  has already been uploaded in the internet.  Don't give them the chance to steal your private information.  Don't tell  me I didn't  warn you!  Be aware and secure first   before selling it away!

OZ The Great and Powerful, review

I was one of the Nuffies (Nuffnangers) who was privileged to watch the special screening of  Oz, The Great and Powerful  last night at Shang Cineplex. I got four tickets, so even on a late  weekday night,  I tagged along  my two daughters for this RATED G  movie  date.  It's  a Disney movie and my daughters were the ones who affirmed of  going to see it  on a big screen. I  love all Disney movies.  As expected, the movie is full of unimaginative and colorful scenes.  At times, I can only  hear a few people reaction to  the scenes where I am most  amazed.  I believe these moviegoers are high critics and want to make a  movie review seriously.   There are some  slow  paced scenes  and wish I could fast forward  as I already know what to happen  in the next  part.  

I  will not spoil  the flow  of the movie   so I  only added general info from Wikipedia.  If you haven't seen it  it,  go and have fun  with your family.  It's a movie that  your whole family will love. It's not only about magical powers, but the magic of believing to achieve greatness!

Plot

Well done, Congratulations!

My daughter can now finally  sit down  on her  back and relax    after   two weeks  of   worries  and uncertainties  waiting  till the day of   their presentation, entitled,  "re: ROBOTICS."   Her group  presented  the  thesis oral defense well.   They  were even told  by  the  panelists  to have their group's  remote controlled cleaning robot   included in an exhibit!    Wow!   All  their efforts were  paid off,   including me,  preparing their mind and   body   (literally,  tummy  full)   in good condition  for the  presentation.   (giving myself a full credit here! :)    They  worked  hard  for the robot  for  nine  months  and  spent  one  whole  sleepless  night   before the  scheduled  presentation   for  the defense. 

After that Saturday afternoon of  half and hour  nerve-wracking defense,  my daughter called me home  and told me about the good news.  She passed the oral defense and  got  the passport  for  graduation.  Luck  isn't  fit to describe the output,  it was hard work and perseverance.  Now,  here comes graduation,  marching on the stage  with head  up high   after  four years of  dedication and persistence.  Another milestone  in her  life is just about  to finish  and a new beginning is about start,  college.   Once again,  Congratulations  and  Good luck!
